April 1, 2025: The Factory Reopens

Following the renovation, the Kopi Banyuatis factory was officially reopened on April 1, 2025. The occasion coincided with the celebration of 65 years of the Kopi Banyuatis journey — a milestone that reflects a long path from a backyard operation in 1960 to a modern production facility today.

The reopening marked the completion of one of the largest physical transformations in the company’s history. The renewed factory became a symbol of Kopi Banyuatis’ readiness to carry its heritage of flavor forward, supported by a more organized workspace and improved operations.

Sixty-five years of history were celebrated by creating a new space for the future.

The renovation included a newly built modern roasting facility equipped with VNT roasting machines capable of producing 200 kg per batch. Raw material storage capacity also increased significantly, now accommodating approximately 200–250 tons of green coffee beans — far greater than the capacity available before the renovation.

As the facilities were upgraded, the distribution of Kopi Banyuatis products also expanded significantly, supporting the company’s growing reach in the market.

May 22, 2025: The Official Protection of the Siyup Brand

The company’s journey then gave rise to a new identity. On May 22, 2025, the Siyup brand officially received legal protection.

The arrival of Siyup became another branch growing from the company’s roots. It demonstrated how a heritage can continue to evolve through new brands, as long as their growth remains grounded in the same journey and values.

Strong roots do not limit growth. Instead, they provide the strength for new branches to emerge.

Before its brand protection was officially granted, Kopi Bali Cap Siyup had already been introduced to the public. The product was launched by Kopi Banyuatis on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Singaraja City Park.

The launch introduced an affordable way to enjoy the familiar taste of traditional warung coffee from an earlier era — responding to consumers who longed for the simplicity of traditional coffee flavor at a more accessible price.
